OUR CURRICULUM
At LCP, we believe that a child’s love for learning must be carefully cultivated. Our play-based curriculum provides an environment where children can grow in confidence through discovery and build the fundamental skills necessary for school readiness and life.
Purposeful Play Stations:
Hands-on exploration designed to encourage alphabet and number awareness, fine motor skills, critical thinking, and reasoning.
Creative Expression:
Children branch out through music & movement and process art to find their unique creative voice.
Outdoor Classroom:
Our outdoor classroom is where curiosity takes root. Children explore the world through our mud kitchen, garden, big blocks and water tables all while building strength and coordination.
Discovery & Critical Thinking:
Our science and reasoning activities encourage children to dig deep, ask questions, and explore the world around them.
Social & Spiritual Growth:
Rooted in faith and community, we foster socialization, listening skills, and Bible stories to build a firm moral foundation.
Our Pre-K 4 yr old class serves as the final season of preparation before elementary school. To ensure our students are ready for the next steps, our Pre-K classrooms are led by educators who are experts in their field. Our teachers bring a wealth of knowledge and hold one or more of the following credentials:
Early Childhood Education Degree
EC-6 State Certification
ESL (English as a Second Language) Certification
